Pain(t)ed paws June 2, 2017

I was painting the inner door frame upstairs, with primer, to prep.  I had just put the paint tray on my desk, to put something away.  Tinka came roaring into my room, took a flying leap onto my desk...and landed 2 front paws in the paint tray.  She turns mid air, and leaps all over the dang house, trying to outrun her paint paws.  Me, flying after her...Ranger the dog in the mix.  Mayhem!.  Finally caught her. Threw her outside.  Back into the house to do a reserve track to wipe up every bloody paint paw marks (pock). Finally cleaned up the mess.  Now to clean up the cat.  Corralled her into the bijkeuken (laundry room).  Had tray ready with water, and proceeded to try and wash paws.  That was a grand wrestling match, with her defense mechanism kicked in----instant hair shed plus.  Water, paint, and hair!  Great combo. Final result.  One very pissed pain(t)ed pawed pussycat, one woman now with hair on her chest (and spitting hairs), and one lesson learned.  Lock up bloody cat if a paint can even opens.  I do NOT want to do this game again.
