What did I do today?
Woke up, had a lazy start of the day; drinking coffee in bed with hubby.
Had a yummy breakfast of freshly baked buns, and soft boiled eggs, and another cup of coffee. Sitting at the kitchen table, soaking up the warmth of the morning sunshine that was streaming in the window.
Did a quick vacuum of the living room, because otherwise the dog hair would win, and suffocate us. Wish I could vacuum the dogs !!!!
Drove hubby to the ferry boat in Harlingen...because next week he has to work on the island . The drive there was lovely. Sunshine, and you could see the spring is starting to burst into life. Was looking for lambs in the meadows, but it was just a shade to early yet.
Came home after a pleasant drive back. Made a tasty risotto dinner, with chicken. Put up my feet, and closed the Sunday off with watching the programs I enjoy (not having to compromise, since I was by myself, and had supreme control of the remote!). Saluted my siesta Sunday with a closing glass of sherry. Proost!
