You were on my mind these past few weeks.
Pictures of moments that we shared; flow in between the thoughts of thinking about you. Even though we hadn't see each other for a while, my memories of you are good.
Our friendship was one, of giving each other space. And when our spaces matched, and we met; it was open, kindhearted, and real. We spoke honestly, and without fear. We were in tune to each other's soul.
Today came the phone call that my heart already was anticipating instinctively. Just because of the fact that my heart spoke to me of you, so often, and recently; you are now gone.
You have found the final peace that you have fought so hard for, in this earthly life. The love of your life, died 5 years ago; and then your inner flame began to go out. These past years you decidedly went your own path; and resolutely wanted to do it alone.
But even respecting that; I lovingly honor our friendship, and the person who you were. A friend to me, and a strong independent woman, who followed her heart.
My belief in heaven...is what I hope and pray for you. That you are now complete again, and are at peace with yourself and all that you love and cherish.
