Help !
This is going to be a challenge. Calling on help, suggestions for the following problem:
I just got word that I need special shoe/correction insoles. Ones that can be put into shoes, to correct the position of my feet, and also to correct the length of a too short leg. All this to prevent the arthritis in the right knee from getting worse (quickly), and also to reduce the pain of the heel spur in the left. All these problems are interconnected.
I am NOT a shoe junky. I do not have a collection of shoes. Just your basic sneakers, hiking boots, one pair of dress simple pump style shoes with a VERY moderate heel, and for the summer a pair of sandals.
But the thought of having to walk around in what I call "granny" shoes does NOT thrill me. I have been searching the internet for possible candidates. Not much out there.
Here in Holland there is a brand of shoe called "Wolky" that seems to be very adaptable for the inserts. But looking at the selection is not really making me happy about having to invest in buying all new shoes.
I do want to look a bit stylish, and not have cloggy, heavy shoes.
Any suggestions to other brands/types of shoes that would be suitable????
Not a fun project.....
any help would be great....
will keep searching for "good shoe wear"....
