This has been a very tense week.
One of nervous tension.
Cautiously feeling out how to communicate better, and in our new way.
Tension between family members, as we move to unknown ground, with uncertain outcome. But knowing that there is no turning back.
We have to get real, and to the core honest, to deal with the issues at hand, and underneath the surface. This takes trust, and determination.
The easiest would be to run, leave it all behind, and yell " your problem....not mine". Truth is...it is OUR problem....and WE have to deal with it.
In the midst of this all, there is a glimmer of something positive for myself.
I have my first job interview, in years.
Because of our new situation, I have to look for work outside of the home, and outside of our own company.
I am nervously excited. Checked my outfit, think I got it right. Simple, classy, but not too "officey". Sensible shoes, with a small heel.
Treating myself to a good manicure ( a first time for me....), so my hands and nails are as pretty as possible.
Even just this experience of going through the interview process is good for me. Feels good that someone sees potential in me, and my skills.
Monday, I will do my best...and hope for the rest.
Think I will really need my Siesta Sunday, to calm myself, and think positive.
Happy weekend....
