Woke up to a delightful scene....
This
We had a visit from "Jack Frost" last night. It was cold ( - 5 ' C) and there had been a mist/fog all night. So the world had been decorated with frost. The sun tried valiantly to burn off the mist, but it remained a watery sun all day. But that didn't take away from the magical appearance of everything outside. Even the most ordinary things took on a whole new perspective and became amazing.
I wish you enough rain to appreciate the sun more.
I wish you enough happiness to keep your spirit alive.
I wish you enough pain so that the smallest joys in life appear much bigger.
I wish you enough gain to satisfy your wanting.
I wish you enough loss to appreciate all that you possess.
I wish you enough hellos to get you through the final good-bye."

So to honor this frozen spectacle I took a walk, enjoying that crackling sound of footsteps on frozen ground and grass. It was a pause, and a good siesta moment....to just simply enjoy the beauty of this icy delight around me.
As I thawed out afterwards and was working on my computer, I came across this quote that I had saved for myself. A quote that you can share with others, when things are difficult, or not what we had hoped for. It is a quietly strong reminder of what we can hope and pray for others to have, in those difficult times.
"I wish you enough sun to keep your
attitude bright.
I wish you enough, too.....on this Siesta Sunday.
