This photo set me thinking this week about this quote. When we look, think or speak about others.....we in essence are comparing ourselves to the other. Judging others either means that I feel inferior, or superior....it strikes a chord in me. A chord that shows that I am "out of tune" and means not in balance or as the quote says.....unhealed. In this world of everything being commented on, observed, and remarks made....it is almost second nature.....to be walking around 24/7 with being judgmental. It is so hard to turn off the "remark" button in my head (and heart)....and just be accepting and open .....without reaction or comment. A good challenge for me....to try and be aware of when I am in a "judgmental" frame of mind...to step back and first look at myself .....as to where it is coming from....from the sore spot in my soul....I must fix that spot first...
I found this photo....and fell in love with it.
It looks like a place where I could spend time....to be alone, think, and reconnect, .and maybe heal.
I can almost hear the quiet....and feel the fresh air and hum of nature and beauty, amid the mountainous solitude.
A place where I would LOVE to have a Siesta Sunday.
