It's so lovely outside. We are having a belated summer! And I plan to enjoy it to the max.
Housework done, groceries done...bring on the sun! (with sunscreen applied of course). Backyard is ready. The parasol is up, and the shade is inviting. Have stack of magazines and a pitcher of elderberry water at hand.
Have a few pictures and quotes that I came across this week, that I though would embody what I hope to do and experience in the coming few summer days.
It was a difficult week, as my sister has begun her chemo, and has been reacting to it very strongly. More than the doctors and team had anticipated. Thankfully the last few days she is feeling stronger, and has realized that it is OK to accept our support and care. She is fighting this battle, but we are her support and logistics team.
