What a wonderful way to start a week.
Directly with a celebration.
My friend is getting married today.

She and her husband-to-be, met less than a year ago.
Both had previous marriages that ended with great sadness and pain.
Each needed time to adjust and heal, and create a new life for themselves.
When their paths crossed, each recognized in the other, that "this person is someone I am happy with, and want to be with for the rest of my life".
Well meaning people gave comments as " too fast", "there are more fish in the sea", "inappropriate", and misplaced opinions.
All I know is my friend is totally happy; happier than I ever have seen her, and the reason is that her lover/partner is experiencing exactly the same. Both have discovered their fitting "other half". People and friends who have known them, from their old former life....can only see the joy, happiness and love that they share.
It renews my belief, that people can find a "true love" again, What a joy that must be for those who have that.
I raise my glass and wish them all the love, health and happiness that they can get.
