I admit...
I am upset. I am tired, and don't want to be "nice" about how I am feeling. The last few days I haven't made the time to write my daily thank you's / grateful points. And immediately I can feel a change in my spirit and my inner attitude about things. My impatience rises up, my irritations are easily ignited.
Because, honestly....it does simply boil down to me, making the time to write, and to focus myself on what is good in my life, and world.
And I slipped up, and fell into my old pattern of finding reasons, excuses, or putting the blame on others, or situations. Easier than admitting I goofed up.
So....

RESET
FOCUS.....
What am I thankful for today. ???
1. Woke up to a sunny morning.
2. Had good energy today to physically get lots done.
3. The help of my children with clearing out the garage. We had fun, unearthing things that were beyond recyling, or were so old and questionable even as to what it was, and who's was it. The feeling of clearing out old junk, is spiritual in a way. Frees up physically, materially, and mentally. Now to put that again into place within myself. They voiced this feeling too.
4. Realizing that every day is a new start, and we get to try all over again, to make the day a joyful one.
I am going to bed tonight grateful that even if I goof up, I can forgive myself, dust myself off, and kindly remind myself, that I am ok. That in it's self is a thing to be grateful for.
