Yeah, it's Friday. The workers have packed up, swept and gone for the weekend. Yes, I am frazzled, BUT; we are getting there.
Have some good things to be grateful:
1. Woke up, feeling rested, ready to get the day started. Looking forward to the weekend, and having the house for ourselves.
2. Amazing technology. Incredible to be able to talk with hubby, who is in the middle of an ocean (on a ship), via a cell phone. Mind blowing for me. But happy to hear that he is well, and safe.
3. Able to pick up our cats from the cat hotel, where they have been staying during the reno. I have missed them so much, and look forward to just having them putter around, asking for love and cuddles.
4. Help from son, who offered to take the dogs out for their last walk, so I could crawl into pj's and bathrobe, early in the evening, and really try to unwind.
5. Life long friends, who unexpectedly are coming to visit me here in Europe. And in 3 weeks time. These friendships truly have stood the test of time and distance. Makes me smile and laugh from the inside out.
