As I sit for a few moments this evening, and think about today; the term " bits and pieces" seems to fit.
It was a day where I seemed to jump from one thing that needed attention, to something/someone else that interrupted what I was doing. Not really a day of being in a flow, or seem to easily go from one activity to another. It felt more a day of reaction rather than action. Doing a bit here, and running to over there. Pieces unfinished, or not even started. My " to do " list, should actually read " tried to do".
So I am grateful that at this moment, I have some quiet time, retreat to my room and write this post. A moment of focus, an exercise in gathering my thoughts to put them into words, and not just feelings. It gives me a feeling of more depth and intensity with what I experience. Not just going through the paces.
Happy to finish off this day on a positive note. Wrote a poem in my granddaughter's friendship book. A high note.
